Especially when measuring thin layers on transparent substrates like glass it is important to minimize the influence of any background reflection or ambient light from the backside. For this task Mikropack offers a special RTL-Stage configuration which can be used in reflection mode with light trap or also in transmission mode. In addition in upside-down-setup easy measurement of samples with varying thickness is possible similar to an inverted microscope.
